Tropical Smoothie with Chia Seeds

Lazy bum, that's what I am. I just spent a four-day holiday doing absolutely nothing. Except watching the movie, Something Borrowed. Twice. Maybe even three times. Yes, I LOVE watching Colin Egglesfied! He is almost as yum as this Tropical Smoothie. But that's hardly anything worthwhile of my time...then there's Fifty Shades of Grey. After reading a few pages, I could barely go on since the book was written so badly. Seriously. I am so glad I didn't spend money on any of the books and just read a copy online. That would have been a waste. Yet it is hugely popular these days. Mommy porn must be the newest trend. Hollywood is even making a movie adaptation.

But who am I to judge that book when I'm also a terrible writer myself. Yes. Guilty. So I'm not going to make this post any longer because really, my mind is completely blank right now and I don't want to torture you with my meaningless posts.

This is the recipe for a wonderful thick, creamy, all natural, good-for-your-body Mango Banana Smoothie.

TROPICAL SMOOTHIE WITH CHIA SEEDS
125 ml non-fat milk
2/3 cup non-fat plain yogurt
3 tbsp honey
1 mango + half of another mango  (medium sized)
half of a medium sized frozen banana, sliced
1/3 cup frozen pineapple chunks (optional)
2 tsp chia seeds

Slice the mangoes along the seed in the middle lengthwise. Scoop out the flesh and freeze it overnight. Blend all ingredients together except for the chia seeds until smooth and thick.  Stir in the chia seeds and serve immediately.
